About Tariq Khan
Tariq Khan is a licensed Optometrist and member of the Health Professions Council of South Africa. After completing his BSc Degree in Human Physiology and Psychology at the University of Johannesburg he went on to study a Bachelor of Optometry, graduating with diagnostic privileges.
His passion for uplifting underprivileged communities has inspired participation in numerous outreach projects, most notably, the Lion's Club. Most recently, Tariq served as a consultant for Bausch and Lomb, where he lent his skills and expertise to both the surgical and pharmaceutical divisions.
Tariq provides comprehensive eye examinations with a special interest in contact lenses and dry eye. His clinical expertise is complemented by a keen eye for design, ensuring that patients receive tailored eyewear solutions that do not compromise on style. Having relocated from Johannesburg and relatively new to Cape Town, Tariq has made the most out of the city's bustling outdoor lifestyle and enjoys travelling, hiking and running.
