Do I need to book an appointment?
Yes, appointments are best, but walk-ins are welcome, depending on availability.
Do you repair glasses?
It's as simple as bringing in your glasses so that we can evaluate whether they can be repaired or not.
Do you accept medical aid?
We accept most medical aid plans. Do contact your nearest store directly to confirm whether they accept your plan.
How long does it take for my glasses or contact lenses to arrive?
It takes about 7 – 10 working days after we have determined your prescription and received your 70% deposit.
Can more than one person benefit from a special offer?
Unfortunately not. All our special offers are non-transferable. View our special offers here.
How much does an eye test cost?
All our eye tests are only R190 – for adults, children (over 6 years) and pensioners.

Can I purchase sunglasses on my medical aid?
Yes. Depending on your plan, we offer prescription sunglasses that can be covered by medical aid.
Can I share an offer?
No, our offers are designed per prescription per person and cannot be shared.
Do you offer laybys?
No, we don't, but we accept PayJustNow, where you can make three interest free payments.
Can anyone wear contact lenses?
Most people can wear contact lenses. Your optometrist will assess your prescription, eye health and lifestyle to determine the most suitable option for you.
Are contact lenses safe?
Yes. Contact lenses are safe when fitted correctly and worn according to your optometrist’s instructions. Regular eye examinations and good lens hygiene are essential for healthy eyes.
How much do contact lenses cost?
The cost of contact lenses varies depending on the type of lenses you wear and your prescription requirements. Neovision offers a range of daily, monthly, toric and multifocal contact lenses to suit different needs and budgets.
Can I wear contact lenses if I have astigmatism?
Yes. In most cases designed toric contact lenses can provide clear, stable vision for many people with astigmatism. According to the amount of astigmatism, the Optometrist will guide in choosing the correct lens type for your astigmatism.
Are contact lenses suitable for dry eyes?
In many cases, yes. Modern lens materials and daily disposable options can provide excellent comfort for people with dry or sensitive eyes.
How long do contact lenses last?
The lifespan of your contact lenses depends on the type prescribed. Daily lenses are replaced every day, while other lenses may be designed for fortnightly or monthly replacement. Always follow the replacement schedule recommended by your optometrist.
How long does it take to get used to contact lenses?
Most people adapt to contact lenses within a few days, although some may take a little longer. Your optometrist will guide you through the adjustment process.
